My Comic Headcanon world is an amalgam of various comic franchises. I cast the characters by voice and acting presence, not by looks. This way I can have the characters look however I want and sound like whoever I want. I also don’t restrict my casting by year/decade.
Eros AKA Starfox: Michael York
Eros is the son of Highfather, the ruler of New Genesis and the younger brother of Scott Free AKA Mister Miracle. Although Starfox didn't know he had a brother for the longest time, not counting his adopted brother Orion. That makes him Darkseid's foster-nephew.
A man who pursues pleasure and harmless fun, but after several centuries of living in idyllic, pastoral New Genesis, Eros grew crazy bored and felt it was time for him to mentally grow up.
He heard of Erthe from his father and used the planet's advanced technology to observe this planet and see what's the big deal about it.
Watching the likes of the Fantastic Four, X-Men, the Titans, and the Avengers, Eros decided "I totally want to be a superhero! It looks really fun and Dad will be pleased I'm doing something productive like saving lives!"
So he moves past the dimensional barriers and lands on Erthe just in time to help the Avengers with a super-villain.
It understandably takes them a while to accept this alien who just popped up out of nowhere and declaring he wants to join. But after many more missions, he proves he's capable of taking things seriously and becomes a member.
Eventually he is transferred to work on the Avengers' moon observation post, being among the few members who can handle the "commute" due to being able to travel into outer space under their own power.
OTHER FACTS: Starfox will flirt with anyone, he isn't bothered with silly things like gender, race, color, flesh or artificial, etc. As long as the person is sapient, and over legal age, he'll make his move. However, he will respect boundaries and back off when told to. That won't stop him from doing some good-natured teasing though. "After all," He'll joke. "Have you seen how many attractive people are on this team at any given time? I hate to see Cap go, but I love to watch him leave!" *wink*
Starfox has the record of dating the most fellow Avengers. Something that Hercules is secretly jealous of, but since he only dates women, he has no chance of beating that record.
Though he looks late 30s, Starfox by his race's standards is around 19-21.
Starfox IS NOT related to Thanos! I'm completely changing Thanos' origin. So, Starfox went from being related to one cosmically dangerous supervillain to the other cosmically dangerous supervillain. X^D
Yes, I know Michael York voiced the one Darkseid henchman, Kanto in a couple DC cartoons. The fact that I cast him for Starfox is more of a coincidence than anything.
Will almost always have a upbeat attitude about everything. And even though he'll take his Avengers duty seriously, he'll still fight with a smile more often than not because he's happy he's fighting for a noble cause and with valor.
POWERS: Can lift about 15 tons. Has superior stamina than he can be at peak levels for about 12-14 hours before he gets tired. Even though his durability is strong enough to withstand being struck by super strong people or crashing thru walls, he can still be hurt by bullets or a well aimed knife. Can fly up to 800 MPH. Capable of surviving outer space without artificial aid for more than a day.
His main power is the ability to stimulate the pleasure centers of most sapient beings' brains. He can adjust the degree from agreeably mellow to highly aroused to practically sedated from intense euphoria.
He has reassured his fellow Avengers many times that he never uses it to take sexual advantage of others. He promised his father to never, ever, ever use the power for evil and the Highfather has ways to make people keep their promises. Strange ways. Besides, Starfox believes sex is only worth pursuing when it's consensual. Not that his fellow Avengers want to hear that.
