Day and Night

Once Upon a Time...

There were two magical sisters who co-ruled a kingdom.

Day would dance and frolic to heck and back, wielding a literal sunbeam as a dance ribbon, amongst the town squares, the outlying farming communities, anywhere there was room to dance whilst breaking into song numbers like any amount of Disney movies. She would raise the subject's morale with her magic of helping food grow a little faster and more healthier than regular farming skills could. And she would inspire the clothing makers to design lovely outfits for festive occasions.

Night would work in the palace all night, hence the pen in her hand, getting the paperwork done thru her more subtle magic of having the most organized mind with a perfect memory in the world. All the ministry workers loved her as she would listen to all of them and then think of a brilliant comprise. Red tape was only a rumor around here and everyone was delighted beyond words at this. The kingdom would never starve or be in danger of running out of money as she worked hard to make certain all the food warehouses were full of her sister's and the farmer's harvest and that the excess were sold to the neighboring realms. People still had to pay taxes, but Night was firm but fair about how much per subject.

This isn't from any story of mine. I did all of this just for fun in the last hour.
